SDC100 ~ Anything Goes

Time to celebrate! This is ~{Stampotique Designer's Challenge}~ #100 and I can't believe I've been part of it since challenge 8!

The lovely ~{Kim}~ is setting the challenge this week, and she deserves a big thank you for all the hard work she does behind the scenes to keep these challenges going. She is being kind and letting it be an Anything Goes challenge so I made this tag:

I've used PaperArtsy Fresco paints throughout for the base and stamped ~{Tangled}~ in white paint.
I stamped ~{Beauty Verse}~ directly onto the tag and added some of ~{Daniel's Hearts}~ onto this. Then I stamped ~{L'il Tatawea}~ and coloured her with Copics before cutting her out and attaching her with a base of washi tape. I've finished off with some doodling and bright ribbons.

Tando Spring Colours.

This week on ~{Tando}~ we have been making things in Spring Colours. I made this card:

I've used part of the ~{Lace Effect Border}~ painted with Fresco paints and added a touch of extra colour using my fingertip.

I took 3 buttons from the  ~{Buttons Grab Bag}~ and painted them, then stamped using Stazon and layered them up with flowers and ribbon.

I used 2 masks for the stems and leaves - the ~{Stitches Group Mask}~ and a couple of leaves from the          ~{Bamboo Mask}~.

I finished off with my usual ~{Happy Birthday}~ stamp.

SDC 99 Summery Feel

I've played along with this week's ~{Stampotique Designer's Challenge}~ which has been set by the very talented ~{Carol}~ and she would like us to create something with a summery feel, so I made another tag:

I started off by dabbing gesso through the ~{Random Circles Mask}~ by Tando to add some texture, then when it was dry painting with acrylic paints.

I stamped ~{Sun Design}~ with Stazon around the smaller circles and doodled with a white pen.

I've coloured ~{Perl}~ with Copics and added some flowers in her hair and finished off with a quote, more flowers, ribbon and some Washi tape.

SDC98 Turquoise and Pink

This week's ~{Stampotique Designer's Challenge}~ is set by ~{Polly}~ and she would like us to use Turquoise and Pink. I love this colour combination so I made this page in my mini journal:

I've used a base of Fresco paints with a mask and some washi tape and stamped ~{Fax to Wolfgang}~ and ~{Swirl Stalks}~ as a background. My main images are ~{Blessed Skellie}~ and ~{Stacked Cups}~ which have been coloured with Copics. I masked off Skellie leaving the wings and heart free and stamped Fax to Wolfgang onto them.

I've finished off with some doodling and a quote by the late, great Douglas Adams - tea always helps I find, especially accompanied by one or two choc chip cookies mmmmm.

I stamped ~{Lots of Gifts}~ directly onto the card blank with Stazon and then used DIs as watercolours to colour it.  I finished off with ~{Happy Birthday}~ beneath.

Tando Tag Week

This week on the ~{Tando Blog}~ we have been sharing tags and there have been so many gorgeous ones shown. I made this one:

I started off by using some texture paste through the ~{Harlequin Mask}~ and, once it was dried, I've used Fresco paints in layers to show the varying texture. It's hard to see, but I also used the dots from the base of Neil Walker's ~{Fish Mask}~ down the left side.

Next I've painted 2 flowers from the ~{Flowers with Stems Grab Bag}~ and 3 butterflies from the       ~{Mini Butterflies Pack}~ all with Fresco paints as they work so well with the chipboard and you only need one coat! I've stamped dots onto the butterflies and doodled on them all to add details.

I finished off with a quote and lots of ribbons.

SDC97 ~ 3 Trimmed Images

This week's ~{Stampotique Designer's Challenge}~ is set by the talented ~{France}~ and she is asking us to use 3 trimmed stamped images. I made a tag:

I've started with a base of Fresco paints then stamped ~{Tenticurl}~ with gesso. I've used DI's as watercolours to add some shading to the curls then splatted some ink. I stamped ~{Fax to Wolfgang}~ randomly across the background.

I stamped ~{Line Up}~ and ~{Birdy Up}~ and used 3 images to colour with Copics and cut out.

I needed a quote for this and used ~{Couldn't You Just Pee Your Pants}~ as it fitted nicely and I thought it looks like the top one is saying and the bottom one is terrified it'll happen!!!

I've finished with some doodling and a black and white base.
